Nestled amidst stunning mountain views, Rifugio Fornas was a delightful escape that felt almost like stepping into a cozy Italian family home. My companions and I enjoyed the warmth of the charming owners, indulging in sumptuous breakfasts featuring a delicious blend of continental and traditional Italian options. Our room, complete with its private balcony, was perfect for enjoying the tranquil surroundings and soaking in the melodious Italian chatter wafting up from the valley. The location, though slightly remote, offered breathtaking hiking trails just waiting to be explored, leaving us all in awe of the Mediterranean's natural beauty. I can't wait to return for another slice of this magical tranquility!
